Kevin Cain Memorial Foundation and Fords Fight for Life Join Forces
Fords Fight for Life is an evening bringing students, staff, families, players and the community together. Jerseys are sponsored in honor of, or remembrance of, a family member or friend who is fighting or bravely fought an illness or disability.
Haverford High School football players wore the sponsored jersey during their game on October 7, 2022. At the conclusion of the game, players, sponsors and honorees walked across the field together to cheers of the community. The jerseys were presented to the honorees as a keepsake.
We are thrilled to announce that over $21,000 was raised to help support the mission of the Kevin Cain Memorial Foundation. We are so grateful to be the beneficiary of this wonderful event. Thank you to all of the organizers and supporters who made this possible.
Our Mission
The KCMF is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to provide assistance to families coping with the financial burden of fighting cancer. The organization was established in April 2006 in memory of Kevin Cain, a coach, a mentor, father, husband and friend, who lost his courageous battle with cancer in June 2005.
Since 2006, The Kevin Cain Memorial Foundation has made a difference in thousands of lives. Each year the KCMF gives money to help cancer patients and their families with groceries, doctor's co-pays, medications, hospital bills, rent, mortgage, utilities, Thanksgiving dinners, Christmas gifts and much, much more. Every dollar of your donation is going directly to a family in need of assistance, offering compassion, respect and ultimately, hope.
